Call Forwarding sends your calls to another phone number. The number can be a Vphonet number (every Vphonet user has a Vphonet number starts with 252-xxx-xxxx), local, long distance, or a mobile phone. You can activate, deactivate, and change your forwarding number at anytime, from your account.
Calls forwarding to home. office or mobile phone is possible only when on your account the is a Call Out service activated.
You can make outgoing calls from Vphonet while Call Forwarding is activated.
If you have Virtual phone number Call IN, the Caller ID feature is assigned to your Vphonet. You can also have multiple Virtual Phone Numbers Call In pointing (forwarded) to the same Vphonet or some phone number.
How can I setup call forwarding?
You can activate Call Forwarding whenever you want your calls to be sent to another phone, including a mobile phone. Once activated, all your calls will be sent to the forwarding number you request.
1. Login to your account and select Call forwarding from the menu.
2. Choose Online or Offline. Calls will be transferred automatically. or forward when Vphonet is Offline only.
3. Choose if you want to forward incoming calls to regular phone number Land line or mobile phone. The Call Out service must be activated on your account in order to forward the call. or to Vphonet user Vphonet number. Calls to Vphonet users are free.
4. Choose country from the drop down list and type a phone number. Then press the Save button.
To deactivate Call Forwarding login to your account and select Call Forwarding from the menu. Then press the Remove button. After you deactivate call forwarding you will start receiving incoming calls on your Vphonet
