Vphonet requires all the outgoing traffic to be allowed, to any TCP or UDP port in order to logon.
There are few reasons why you are offline.
If you download FREE Vphonet for home and you have a firewall you should configured your firewall to work with Vphonet.
In your Vphonet Options->Network you have message:
"You are directly connected to the Internet with no NAT, but some firewall is blocking packets. Your network is not fully compatible with Vphonet and you will probably experience trouble."
1. Open Windows Firewall (Start->All Programs->Control Panel)
2. Double click on Windows Firewall icon to launch it.
3. Make sure the check box for 'Don't allow exceptions' is unchecked.
4. Click Exceptions tab to open it.
5. Click on Add Programs button below the list of Programs and services.
6. Select Vphonet from the list and click OK.
7. Click OK to confirm your settings.
8. Restart Vphonet, it will automatically reconnect.
If Vphonet is still Offline restart your PC.
Some firewalls like ZoneAlarm don't present any problem.
The user should allow Vphonet to access the Internet at the first time to the question presented by the firewall.
